Sneaker Art

I bought these high tops awhile ago. Decided they needed something.

First, I clean the toe of the shoe with some alcohol.

Using a pencil, I roughed in what I wanted to draw before going in with a marker.

Using a black Copic marker with the brush nib, I simply ink my design.

If you make a mistake, Copic markers clean off easily with alcohol.

The finished product!

Hey Guy, these are really awesome. I was wondering did you have to protect them with a top coat of something or will the weather damage them?

I haven't protected it with anything as yet. So far I haven't had any issues with it. I did hit it with the hairdryer to cure it, but I doubt that did much since it's rubber. Water shouldn't affect it, but then, it doesn't rain here :)
