These are two of my most recent projects. I'm having a difficult time finding...time...to work on these. These two are digital color studies for a series of paintings I am going to be working on based on the traditional Florida subject matter, but done in a loose style. I was inspired by an artist I saw at the Chicago Institute of Art named Maureen Gallace. Her ice blue New England landscapes are hypnotic in their gorgeous simplicity. I thought I could capture some of that quality with a Florida accent.
